Are we truly free, or is it an illusion?
In today's society, we often find ourselves chained by various problems such as social media, overconsumption, work, and unhealthy relationships. Emancipation and fulfillment are therefore key elements necessary for the pursuit of happiness. To achieve this, however, we must face numerous obstacles, challenges, and hindrances. The objective of the new collection, Hinders, is to show how humanity is blinded by everyday problems without realizing these chains.
With these photographs, the artist not only seeks to analyze our society, but also to offer a solution. The intention is to address this question by choosing self-liberation by resolving one's inner fears through reflection and introspection. In his works, Idan Wizen attempts to describe, in a subtle and dreamlike way, an ode to free will, to individual decision, and to the capacity of each person to break their chains.
