Presentation

"Apart from the painting and ink drawing which I have been practicing for a couple of years, I now devote my time to painting, taking the woman's body as an example. I decided to do what others don't: I like something called... concrete! Well, let's say I like special cements, modern complex materials used by great architects and contractors who build crazy stuff in Qatar, the Emirats etc...

I drop raku, ceramic and other cooking clays that are, in my opinion, techniques of the past, but beautiful!  My sculptures of women (breasts, buttocks, busts) are not simple "casts", I leave an impression, then I interpret, I shape, I torture the material to make an original work, unique work, that corresponds to the personality of the model. The materials used are solid, metallically reinforced, coated and can defy time even outside.

What inspired me initially is my great grandfather (jules loup), my grandfather (Victor loup) and my father (Henri loup) all entrepreneurs and former students of the famous Ecole Centrale de Paris, worked on the development concrete. This subject was part of my childhood, which explains why I wanted to continue in this direction and tried to innovate using modern materials for the art of today."
