"My work as a visual artist is both a quest and a path. The quest always started again is those of sensations. It involves the search for new techniques, new lights. The path is interior, personal. In the discovery of myself, my canvases are universes to be shared, reveries where new paths emerge that everyone can borrow.

I have just finished this work. I am always more drawn to my latest work. I observe them, scrutinize them. “We got to know each other”, after a work of letting go and instinctive gestures. It opens me to other perspectives, a new research. I am thinking of a series while looking at certain details. It also brings me back to a work that I had started with “MDC”, a work that Galerie Sonia Monti will present. It looks at itself in any direction without losing its strength. It also brings together what I like to work: transparencies, movement, chiaroscuro with a break in the center that takes me to another interpretation. This break also brings me back to the latest events with confinement. The horizontal or vertical bands (depending on the reading) remind me of certain works by Soulage while keeping my style. I do not necessarily indicate a path to take. It seems new to me, but maybe you will see a good continuity in my work. This work called "Reflets6.2020" is presented on a canvas frame measuring 90 x 90 cm, produced in mixed media, acrylic and pigments. "
