Paul Silvestre is a French sculptor. He was born in Toulouse on February 17, 1884, and died in Ivry-sur-Seine on June 12, 1976.
He was admitted in 1905 to the School of Fine Arts in Paris in the workshops of Antonin Mercié and Antonin Carlès.
In 1911, he was awarded the second second grand prix as well as the Desprez prize, then by the first second grand prix de Rome in 1912.
He exhibited regularly from 1921 at the Salon des Artistes Français, where he won a gold medal in 1930.
