Luís Direito was born on May 27, 1966, in Nova Lisboa, Angola and with dual Portuguese and Angolan nationality, he has works in areas as diverse as photography, painting, sculpture and jewellery, being self-taught in all these arts.
He produced many painting works in Angola (mixed techniques and with different materials) where his work became somewhat widespread, especially in circles of friends and connoisseurs of art in the "word of mouth", using mostly recycled materials and contemporary themes from Angola, but fleeing of traditional African.
In Portugal, he started his journey very early, practically since childhood, especially in painting with watercolours and later on acrylics and made some investments in oils on canvas. Materials and their secrets, paints, printing, modelling, welding and carpentry unite all the areas in which it moves, allowing you to create and put into practice works that almost always include different techniques and materials as a way of expression.
