Denis Jutzeler was born in Nyon in 1956, he currently lives and works in Geneva. He graduated from the School of Photography of Vevey, he oscillates between photography and cinema where he works as a cinema director since the 90s. He has collaborated, among others ,with filmmaker Alain Tanner and has received prizes regularly for his documentaries or fiction movies.
His abstract paintings offer a shimmering palette of colors as well as an interweaving of oneiric features.
He received the Quartz for the best photography of Swiss cinema in 2014. Between two cinematographic projects, Denis pursues a personal photographic work and in 2010, his personal work was rewarded with the Swiss Photo Award. His has exhibited his work in Geneva, Zurich, Nyon and Lancy...
