The Integumentary virtual exhibition brings together a curated selection of photographs by the exceptional artists Jose Sierra - Ricky Cohete - David Jay and Luca Artioli all represented by our gallery.
José Sierra painted his body as a tribute to Afro-Colombian and pre-Columbian cultures, documenting the performance in photographs that portray him in erotic and suggestive positions.
Ricky Cohete: In this series the artist documents how in the roar of the hills, these two bodies intertwine and connect with each other, forming mountains of desire.
David Jay: Through Jay’s photography, context evaporates, and we as the viewer are left to engage the subjects, trade places, and for a moment, live behind their eyes.
Luca Artioli: Touching the skin of the past is an extraordinary collection of Roman Statues captured with the ICM technique in order to make the marble skin like a truly human body. "Touching the skin of the past I can feel the blood flow under the marble. Feel the warmth under the cold. And history rises up with a breath of lust".
