Eone

France

Biography

In 1982, David immersed himself in hip-hop culture thanks to his BMX bike, then two years later, the cult films Beat Street and Break Street 84 exerted their influence on him, as on so many other young people of his generation, first for music and for writing, influenced by the Spraycan Art effect. Without being a virtuoso, he enjoyed graffiti on walls, risking the adventure under the name EONE. He hung up his spray cans to launch into electronic music in the 90s, then founded the label Denote Records in 2000 and the group Oscar. Today, he divides his time between DJaying and Mastering, between Barcelona and Paris.

With the idea of introducing his son to his career as a graffiti artist, David dug out the vintage photos and everything he had been able to archive. From this approach was born the idea of the book, aiming to transmit the genesis of this culture to the younger generations.
