Intimately linked to the senses, this work carries within it the dream of a perfect communion between peoples, different cultures or beliefs. The priority given to language sometimes orchestrates a mixture of various idioms and words on the surface of the paintings or in the comments that surround them. The work of art is then surrounded by a cocoon of poetry, proverbs and aphorisms, while the latter come and go between the painting and its surroundings. We observe a pictorial practice between relief and impalpable, through which Cartesian reason collapses, while the notion of meeting and union asserts itself in the field of the invisible. Something is hidden in another layer of reality, the very one that is not immediately perceptible, but surfaces on the surface of the paintings. The act of creation becomes a natural function of recognizing another dimension of ourselves. Each work bears witness to a thirst for knowledge, but to a knowledge that goes through roundabouts, through a soft and limpid spirituality. This implies shedding the rational and accepting to let oneself be carried away, in other words to indulge in all lightness in an essential letting go. For the artist, there is a field of consciousness in nature, a larger source of life to which we all belong and through which we are connected. The lines symbolize these links and the colors, the joy of knowing oneself ceaselessly in the process of becoming. Our gaze evolves, charged with the power that the present moment gives us, and helps us to find this contact with the source of our existence, the one which transports us towards this vast notion of Universe, united towards… Like a breath of life breathed in in these works, we must see the reflection of the depths of our souls and their communions: their union engaged in the same journey, the same direction. - Laure Jaumouillé
