The French artist Julien Colombier takes out his magnifying glass, places it on the plant element in its original simplicity and paints it in hypnotic patterns repeated at will, like a snub to our daily life full of solicitations but which he makes more tolerable by his soothing features.
The Polish artist Monika Malewska deconstructs the genre of still life and encourages us to introspect on our society of (over)consumption by integrating a touch of comedy and absurdity.
As for the American artist Danielle Winger, she takes a step back and offers us calm and meditative landscapes as so many metaphors for the search for oneself.
