Meteo Meteo creates powerful and textured works, where the symbol of the cage embodies our limits, combining raw energy, minimalism and reclaimed materials for a strong visual impact.
Biography
Meteo Meteo is an ultra-contemporary artist trained in Switzerland, whose work explores the visible and invisible mechanisms that structure our lives.
Between neo-expressionist portraits, intense and raw, and minimalist compositions with a strong symbolic charge, he questions social roles, emotions and power relations.
The recurring motif of the cage embodies constraints and conditioning, whether chosen or imposed, individual or collective.
An anonymous artist, including in terms of his gender, Meteo Meteo thus frees his works from the classifications and trends that pervade the art market. This position allows him to circulate his work freely, free from any projection or expectation, without filters or labels.
His approach is instinctive and eco-responsible: he mainly uses recovered materials - papers, fabrics, abandoned canvases - which he transforms into direct and vibrant works, at the crossroads of art brut, pop and minimalism, sometimes tinged with a darker and more reserved visual poetry.
His paintings of guts, a frontal symbol of what lives deep within us, extend this desire for a frank and striking visual language.
Quickly noticed in France and internationally, Meteo Meteo saw his work praised by renowned artists and acquired by influential collectors.
Its discreet but rapid rise makes it a sure bet for those looking for an authentic, unique and uncompromising style.
