Jane Nee (b. 1992) is a contemporary artist based in South Korea, specializing in oil painting with a refined smooth-painting technique. Her practice is centered on creating contemplative spaces within her works—quiet invitations to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the beauty of the present moment.
Through softness and precision, Nee achieves a meditative quality in her paintings, balancing technical mastery with emotional resonance. Her art reflects on the rapid tempo of modern life, offering viewers not overwhelming narratives but subtle, intimate dialogues with color, form, and atmosphere. She believes art has the power to awaken what often remains unnoticed, revealing inner peace and unseen connections between humanity and nature.
Jane Nee's works have been exhibited internationally, including in the United States, Switzerland, India, Serbia, Russia, and South Korea. She has received recognition in numerous international competitions, including multiple first and merit awards. Alongside her artistic practice, she runs her own studio, where she teaches painting and art courses.
Nee is a member of the Eurasian Art Union, the Professional Union of Artists, and the International Academy of Contemporary Arts. Her works are held in private collections worldwide.
