Personal exhibition at the Matmut Contemporary Art Center.
"The Center d'art contemporain de la Matmut-Daniel Havis presents an unpublished collection by Florence Dussuyer composed of canvases, sculptures of dresses, portraits of suffragettes and Vietnamese scrolls, bringing the distant to a close memory. The artist tells us about a universe overflowing, sensual, poetic and open, where randomness and movement are the main guides. Inspired by her wanderings in the park of the art center, the artist let herself be carried away by her imagination, almost magical: the mist morning, the castle, the silent trees ... so many reflections around the stories that are told and told. It is decided, it is by revisiting the paintings of the history of art, in a way personal and sensitive, that she will continue the series of “Asleep” and “Awakened.”
It is a universe of women, immersed in matter, mixed with textures, colors and multiple references that Florence Dussuyer gives to the gaze, like a tribute. dre a little, perhaps to find ourselves as close as possible to ourselves, in this restful and original carelessness. To be a simple presence in the world, vast within. "
