Simone Fattal is a Franco-Lebanese artist and sculptor known for her unique style that fuses Western and Eastern influences. Born in 1942 in Damascus, Syria, and raised in Lebanon, she developed an artistic style that explores both abstract and figurative forms. Simone began her academic training at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where she was immersed in the rich European artistic milieu. His works were influenced by major artists such as Alberto Giacometti and Brancusi, thus enriching his approach to sculpture. After her studies, she returned to Lebanon and founded a publishing house before settling in California in 1980, where she continued to explore and develop her art.Simone Fattal's artistic style is characterized by an intuitive use of materials such as ceramic and bronze. His often imposing sculptures play with themes of mythology, history and poetry. War and peace are also recurring subjects in his work, reflecting his personal history with the conflict in Lebanon.
