Biography
Born in 1983, Tver (Russia)
Lives and works in Tver and St. Petereburg.
In my works I focus on three-dimensional abstract relief. The central concept of my work is sculptures made of wood, textured landscapes, reminding of reunion with natural beauty, enticing the observer away from today's chaotic digital life. Besides that, my works are investigating the issues of emotional intensity, intuition, and relations between the man and the environment. When creating my works, I imagine quiet places, worlds in balance, where emptiness goes well together with the eternal life in all of its manifestations. Creating mural installations allows me to design my own universe, a poetically precise one, to formulate my own understanding of shape and symmetry, as well as to create a balanced space and practice modern art.
