Presentación
Saori Nakamishi se formó en estética y arte, luego, luego de graduarse, decidió realizar ilustraciones pintorescas, muy influenciadas por el mundo del manga. Vive y trabaja en Japón. Su trabajo, bastante realista, utiliza los códigos de la estética del manga además de estos temas. Nos muestra jovencitas hermosas y sexys, al estilo Lolita. Eróticos pero inocentes, llevan nombres como Cereza, Ángel, Joya o Corazón, y están rodeados de criaturas o símbolos fantásticos. Así, Saori Nakamishi combina la tradición japonesa del manga y los colores neo-pop en sus obras. En 2005, colaboró con el artista Hiro Ando para crear un taller de artistas "Crazynoodles studio", dedicado a la promoción de jóvenes artistas neo-pop inspirados en el manga y el kitsch. Hoy el taller representa a 15 artistas y distribuye sus obras por todo el mundo, desde París a Tokio, con total libertad de expresión. Crazynoodles intenta combatir el predominio occidental, algo elitista en lo que a arte se refiere.
