Biography
Dann Aubert is a French artist born in 1954 who works and lives in Sommières in the Gard (France).
He became an artist after having been an electronics engineer, educator, trainer, business manager, his encounter with the works of the famous artist Emile NOIROT (1854-1924).
Always in constant research, he works using mixed techniques. He expresses in color his transcription of reality, "his inner landscapes."
In his paintings, generally in oil, there is a tension between landscape and imagination. The brushstrokes can be thick, the contrasts strong, the microreliefs repetitive artifacts, and the nuances infinite.
His eminently lyrical work appears to be the fruit of seasoned gestures responding to the command of a poet's mind.
He belongs to the French lyrical expressionist movement.
