Danu

"The Eternal Feminine" and animals are the two favorite subjects of Danu, he was born in 1955 in Vence, Cote d'azur. From a feminine sillhoutte to that of a giraffe or a butterfly, the artist sculpts their bodies.

His human scale sculptures and the incandescent colors of his pieces are intimidating and enchanting. They are exhibited in situ, specially in parks which are perfect places to exhibit the huge formats and the spring colors of his pieces. The size of his pieces seduces the viewers, the exuberant colors delight them.

The Sculpture Park in London, famous for hosting the sculptures of famous artist from Mike Green to Doroth Brook, exhibits permanently one of the pieces of Danu. His work has been exhibited at the Pur and Simple Gallery in Mougins and at the M&Vous Atelier in Vence. His sales in summer auctions and in association with the prestigious house of auctions Sotheby's, are recurrent (about thirty).
