Biography
J U L E, painter, materialises her thinking, her emotions, her questionings, in relation to her own journey and to the world's issues.
She expresses with strength her palette of feelings, between shade and light, colours and textures; she offers the viewer an abstract Art, one that is freely open to interpretation while still carrying its own sense.
Decidedly optimistic, she proposes an open view onto the world which she qualifies as a "joyful chaos", while suggesting a possible exit (a window, an opening often realised on the canvas).
In her studio-laboratory, J U L E experiments, tests mediums and tools. Acrylic, oil, charcoal, plaster, nails, paper, varnish are all part of her creation.
From this alchemy, she conveys emotion, movement, or the expression of a thought...often unconscious.
The choice to express herself on large canvas is an invitation to see big and to immerse in a space of freedom, which is so dear to her.
«I want to express above all the idea of a solution, a way out of a deadlock, that light always comes through... regardless. »
