

Biography
Born in Germany, Amélie Joos studied painting at the Kunstakadémie. She then continued her studies at the Avignon Fine Arts School (DNSEP in 1997), then at the University of Aix-Marseille in art history (Masters 2003).
Amélie Joos today lives and works in Avignon.
She regularly exhibits her work in France and abroad. In 2022, she exhibited among others at Yoyo Maeght, at the Espace Grimont in Paris and at the Camprédon contemporary art center in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. She has exhibited at the Galerie des Augustines in Marseille, in Montpellier at the Numéro 5 Galerie, the Galerie Multiple and at Agnes B, in Sète in the chapel in the upper quarter or at the Spirale workshop, in Paris at the Montparnasse museum and the Simple Gallery, in Avignon at the Ducastel gallery or at the Saint Louis cloister, at the Beaucet castle art center, in Berlin, (Galerie Sur la Montagne, Pavlov's Gallery, Pussy Galore Gallery).
She will exhibit her new installations in 2024 at the Chapelle du Collège in Carpentras and will exhibit among others at the contemporary art house in Tarascon and in Brittany at the Galerie Claire Beillard.
