Biography

Charles Tanguy, born in 1950, is an Irish art critic and photographer. Art photographer, his main favorite themes are photos of works of art, art exhibitions, mainly urban landscapes, including Paris. Art critic and jurist, he defends the cause of living artists in the caught up in Kafkaesque administrative harassment in France, the United States and Eastern European countries. He defends the cause of Klamerus, a Polish artist in the 1980s, victim of the Wall of Shame of the Soviet yoke in 1986, and that of Peter Stilton, an American artist exhibited in 1995 and 1998 by the Lise Cormery gallery and at the Sorbonne in 1998 Stilton, harassed by the French administration, will never want to exhibit in France again.
