Oksana Evteeva (Oksana Siciliana)

Oksana Evteeva lives and works in Latina. She is the Ambassador of Sicily in Art, a Sicilian artist of Arctic origin whose work blends realism, impressionism, and surrealism, realised through her distinctive technique.

Evteeva has participated in numerous group exhibitions worldwide, including the Bienal de Arte Barcelona at MEAM – Museu Europeu d'Art Modern, and a group show at Palazzo Zenobio during the 58th Venice Biennale. She held a solo exhibition at the independent artist space A Cuccagna in Termini Imerese, Italy.

Her artworks are part of private collections across the EU, Brazil, China, and the USA.

She is currently working on Un si ni pò chiù – No More to Give, a surrealist series born from personal crisis and emotional dislocation, yet deeply rooted in Sicilian identity. The series explores poetic symbolism, psychological depth, and visual tension.

Evteeva's artistic practice is a heartfelt exploration of Sicilian life and philosophy. Drawing from everyday rituals, medieval architecture, and cultural hybridity, her work reflects a deep admiration for Sicily as a place of emotional and spiritual connection. Her visual language bridges philosophical inquiry with intimate observation—engaging themes of personal freedom, cultural memory, and the hidden resonance of domestic landscapes.

She occasionally collaborates with local organisations, including the Fiat 500 Club Catania, in cultural and artistic projects.
