

Biography
Anas Homsi, a painter and photographer, was born in Syria in 1987 and is currently based in Berlin. Anas graduated from Damascus University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fine Arts, specializing in Painting and Drawing. Following his graduation, he became a proud member of the Syrian Plastic Artists' Union, showcasing his early dedication to the artistic community in Syria.
In 2017, he became a member of the Neues Atelierhaus Panzerhalle in Potsdam, further immersing himself in the vibrant German art scene. In 2018, he extended his involvement by joining the Brandenburgischer Verband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler e.V., demonstrating. In 2020, he expanded his horizons by earning a BA in Design, with a focus on Visual Communications, from the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, Germany.
His vibrant canvases burst with energy and his colorful palette and gestural brush strokes allow him to create a style of his own. The seemingly human shapes that characterize his paintings come to life and convey subtle emotions. Anas Homsi participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Lebanon, Singapore, Greece, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. His work exist in private collections around the world.
