Ellen Brook

Ellen Brook creates vibrant and expressive abstract mixed media artwork. Ellen's passion for color, spontaneous gestures, marks and textiles come together in her work as visual poetry. Art is a perfect place to explore her curiosity about the human condition, the nature of the mind, and the properties of beauty and color as they relate to healing. Ellen's most recent series, "Message in a Bottle," explores the themes of longing and connection based on a box of 100 year old letters she discovered that were written by her grandfather (whom she never met) when he was a soldier in WW1.

Ellen also creates one of a kind fashion that has many of the same qualities of energy, dynamism and movement found in her visual art.
