Born in 1974 in Plovdiv. I have been knitting with a corn cob since I was a child. Knitting with belenitsa (corn cob) is a traditional occupation practiced by the women in the family. The best leaves of the corn husk (the husks from the corn cob) are used, from which mats, baskets, and bags are woven.
Today, this activity has been artistically modernized and instead of mats for the floor, various souvenirs are made - jewelry boxes, serving sets, flowers, children's dolls, blinds and many others.
