Presentation

Carving French artist specialist in anaglyph, born in France in 1980, he studied the art of photography before doing his job.

He began photography very early in 1995, passionate about photography since his adolescence Mr. Ciselure and became a professional photographer, he then perfected himself in anaglyph which changed his photographic style.

An anaglyph consists of two superimposed images (called counterparts) of complementary colors representing the same scene but seen from slightly offset points: most often the left view in red and the right view in cyan. These homologous images are therefore not identical: the shift (called parallax or disparity) is not the same for all the elements of the image; it is all the greater, in one direction or the other, as the elements are located near the plane of the physical image, for example printed, projected on a screen or displayed on a screen.

Anaglyphs have been used since the 19th century to project images in relief, by assigning each viewer glasses with colored filters and placing the corresponding filter in front of each projector. These projections initially focused on still images, then on cinema from the beginning of the 20th century.

Later, anaglyphs were used in television, 1980-1981 broadcast by TF1 in "Les Grandes Première de la Photographie" by Philippe CAFFIN and Denis DERRIEN. The appropriate glasses were sold in photo shops by the holography museum and recommended by specialized weeklies and the major press.
