Presentation
Wai Ming LUNG was born in 1970 in Hong Kong. A jack-of-all-trades with insatiable curiosity, he was trained at the Decorative Arts in Paris, where he was introduced to painting, graphics, design, textiles and photography.
After various lives as a fashion designer in haute couture, creative director of major communication agencies or food critic, he decided to return to his first love: drawing, painting and plastic creation.
Exclusively monochromatic, his work always revolves around themes such as alienation, spleen and the ideal, death, sex and the passage of time, but never without the obsessive desire to infuse poetry into the ordinary.
Wai Ming Lung lives and works between Paris and Brussels.
