Presentation

After the period of study at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, he attended and worked in the studios of important international artists such as Ideo Pantaleoni, Aldo Pancheri, Vedovamazzei, Donna Ferrato and Ettore Favini. He is currently represented by the UNA galleries in Piacenza (IT), Casa D' Arte San Lorenzo in San Miniato (IT), Room gallery in Milan (IT) and by the Pastificio Cerere Foundation in Rome (IT). His latest solo exhibition Fiur (2019) curated by Ivan Quaroni and Riccardo Ferrucci was set up at the Magazzini del sale museum in Siena, and was created thanks to the contribution and support of the Tuscany Region and Casa d'Arte San Lorenzo. The pictorial cycle on display takes inspiration from the Sienese school of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, in particular the work of the Sienese artist Sassetta.

In 2016 a pictorial research still in progress takes shape, which deals with the study of the color green and investigates a particular species of plants: the vagabonds. This pictorial and sign study takes its inspiration from the work of the French biologist, writer, entomologist and landscape architect, Gilles Clément, in particular from the volumes: Small pedagogy of grass. Reflections on the planetary garden, Manifesto of the Third Landscape and In praise of the vagabonds. Herbs, shrubs and flowers conquering the world. In 2017 the pictorial cycle Elogio delle Vagabonde was exhibited in various solo exhibitions, including: Dopo il delluvio at the Villa Vertua Masolo civic museum in Nova Milanese and Verde Indagine at UNA in Piacenza. Among the numerous group exhibitions in which I took part, I recall here: Tree Times (2019), group exhibition curated by Andrea Lerda, at the Mountain Museum of Turin, So Long (Arrivederci), artist in residence closing exhibition (2017) at the Foundation Pastificio Cerere in Rome, Stupid as a painter at the Villa Vertua museum in Nova Milanese, IT Souvenir (2015) at the Milan business square. His works have entered various private collections, Italian institutions and banking institutions, including: Unicredit (EU), Banca Sistema (IT), Fondazione Pastificio Cerere (IT) and Schafhof – Europäisches Künstlerhaus Oberbayern Munich (DE). He has organized and curated various projects and group exhibitions: Subculture Fanzine an independent editorial project followed by an exhibition set up at the Edicola Radetzky in Milan (2012-2016), LabRouge an independent curatorial project, together with Rossella Farinotti, which saw the creation of various exhibitions of international artists (2012-2014), Sold Out (2008) a review dedicated to young artists and street art. He currently lives and works in Helsinki.
