Maryam is a free spirit in the art world. A free artist, she is uncontrollable, both on the subjects she tackles and on the techniques she explores. The discovery of his work, fascinating, is built by sequences, by series, most often expressed on large formats.

To understand the uniqueness of this unclassifiable artist, Maryam was born with an extra chromosome. From childhood she developed a spontaneous taste for the plastic arts. His parents see it as a chance for self-fulfillment, expression and above all the chance for an exchange.

Maryam's training

Maryam, is no longer completely self-taught. Between 2011 and 2016, she took courses as a free auditor at the Arts Déco, at the Grande Chaumière and at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris (ENSBA).

The colors of Maryam

One of the peculiarities of his painting is the work with colors, the enhancement of contrasts and complementary colors.

She applies on the canvas, intuitively, what others have learned during several years of study, with an innate gift of fine colorist.

Maryam's Prism

She captures the environment with great virtuosity, but she does not render it in an academic and applied way. She retains only the essentials, with audacity, thus restoring a diagonal rose of a Gauguin, revisiting the sunflowers of Van Gogh but without its flowers. The spectator thus penetrates his world, exchanging with his paintings the world through his eyes.

Maryam's Feelings

From the naivety of a bouquet of flowers, to the complexity of a face, passing through the softness of a landscape, Maryam expressing her mood, the inspiration of a moment, a moment of beauty tinged with joy or melancholy. She only abandons a canvas once it has been signed, before investing in another.

The shapes and colors of Maryam

From truncated perspectives, from overload or to the reserve of colors, Maryam approaches each subject courageously with shapes and colors, creating a living, harmonious and benevolent world.

The colors of Maryam's heart

She throws her brush on the canvas with ample gestures, chooses the most dazzling colors. Thierry Dufresne, French art historian, said of Maryam's work: "When I first saw her drawings and compositions, I immediately understood what she was doing and trying to convey. through his works. It was a return to the origin. When all forms were one light and all were equal”.

Maryam puts a lot of sincerity, harmony and kindness in her works.

Art gave Maryam Alakbarli a wonderful chance to express her love of nature in all its manifestations, to give it to us in a dazzling way through her works.
