After graduating from UCLA, Robert worked on several tv shows in Paris and Los Angeles and shot for the best magazines in the fashion industry e.g. Interview Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Time, Match, Elle, and Glamour. In fact, his first Harper’s Bazaar cover was the last Guy Bourdin series’ issue. He also shot in the 90s, the supermodel era, models like Linda Evangelista and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.
In the years 2008-2012, given the news of Carla Bruni becoming First Lady of France following her marriage with President Nicolas Sarkozy, the photographs resulting from her collaborations with Philippe Robert are of international interest.
Philippe's work has been exhibited in the Photo Fashion Festival at Le Louvre Museum in Paris, Picasso Museum exhibition in Cannes, Film Festival in New-York, Festival de la Photo de Mode, and Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo.
