Professional painter, I live in southern Ardèche. My activity as a painter manages my daily life.

I am drawn to people and more particularly to portraits. After a figurative and classical period, I am heading today towards a more contemporary work. I transport myself from the figurative universe to the borders of abstraction.

In contact with the oil paint, the portrait takes shape, associating the material with the harmony of colors. I like to play with the different hues by making the lights shimmer between them.

The knife is an essential tool to express my work. Each canvas makes me pass through doubt, pleasure, strength, even obsession. The portrait is a theme that makes me vibrate, and that remains for me to constantly renew.

My pictorial style aims to make each portrait come alive by creating the emotion that I want to share.
