Idowu Opeyemi Olaide [born February 8, 1998, in Iseyin, Oyo State, Nigeria] is a visual artist residing in Ibadan, Oyo State. His journey into the world of art began in primary school when his parents gifted him a special drawing book, igniting a lifelong passion for creative expression.
Opeyemi pursued his formal education in art at The Polytechnic Ibadan, where he obtained a National Diploma in fine art in 2019. He furthered his studies at the same institution, earning a Higher National Diploma in painting in 2024.
His artwork is deeply influenced by his cultural background and the community around him, showcasing a remarkable fusion of realism and abstraction. This unique style imbues his pieces with a sense of depth and movement, drawing viewers into a profound engagement with his work.
