"Tante belle cose" is a blessing originating from Italy, now almost obsolote, and is used to wish others, as a farewell, to recognize and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us in all forms, large and small, and to find joy in the small details of eveyday life.
In this exhibition, Carlos Díaz draw a parallel between the blessing and the way of experience beauty, that of the daily life of the artist, which governs his painting and creates his plastic world.
He relies on abstract patterns to dress a figuration committed ot finding emotion and hopefully providing, as in the blessing, a glimpse of happiness to those who contemplate it.
