Biography
Aurélie Nemours was born in Paris in 1910 and died in 2005.
In 1941 she studied at the André Lhote Academy. In 1946 she showed her work at the Salon d’Art Sacré. Between 1948 and 1951 Aurélie Nemours worked with Fernand Léger and in 1957 he became a member of the Espace group created by André Bloc.
In 2001 she launched the 'Aurélie Nemours' Prize.
