Ramzi Adek

Born in 1976 in Aix-en-Provence, Adek (aka Ramzi) started his artistic career by making graffiti. He creates a subversive universe materialized in a colorful and generous style, mixing street art and pop art. His tag (short for "adequate") and his style have been formed on the walls of Paris during many years. He was also a DJ for a while.

In 2009, he decided to dedicate himself to his art entirely. Adek chose to work in his studio, on canvas, displaying an imaginary that combines street culture, pop icons and references to modern and contemporary art (taking inspiration from Matisse, Vasarely or Agam).
