Biography
Maxwell Boadi was born in 1982 in Accra, Ghana. He studied at the Ghanatta College of Arts and Design, graduating with a Diploma in Fine Arts, in 2004.
Boadi's style reflects his inspiration from people and his environment. His art encompasses a wide variety of themes – portraits inspired by friends and neighbours, artworks exploring his Christian faith and canvases detailing the urban evolution of the Accra landscape.
His palette is energetic and vibrant, bringing a sense of urgency to his themes. Boadi is based in Accra and has exhibited in Ghana and internationally in group and solo exhibitions.
