Biography
Born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1988, KYNE is a visual artist boasting a unique artistic style that has been strongly influenced by 80's popular culture. Though trained in Japanese nihonga painting, KYNE has extended his work beyond traditional artistic styles. He recently collaborated with Takashi Murakami on a collection of prints which showcased the artist's portraits against the backdrop of Murakami's striking pieces.
KYNE's work has been exhibited across Japan, including at the Contemporary Art Fair, Taipei City and at Gallery Target in Tokyo.
