Alea Pinar Du Pre

Pinar Du Pre is an Austrian-Turkish artist, born in 1972 in Vienna.

Highly talented and a self-taught artist, Pinar Du Pre began painting at a very early age: at only the age of 6, she created 500 drawings of dolls, at the age of 13, Pinar Du Pre painted her first oil paintings and invented the printing technique with oil painting.

Pinar Du Pre is an artist who is extremely curious about nature's reality. Inspired by her research, her works create metaphors reflecting her diverging view points on reality.

Her technique unveils a fusion of digital materials, aiming to represent the potential of our perception due to the new medias and digital arts.

Today, Pinar du Pré confirms this unique and innovative technique in which she combines "the virtual world" with "the real world".

Her aim is to inflict some clear-sightedness inside all of us, by thinking outside the box, as she hopes that we'll find new ways of explaining what we see.
