My creative process is an act of self-knowledge and healing. The mirrors in my works are not just reflections of reality, but guides to the depths of the self.
Biography
Anastasia Gofman (b. 1985) is a visionary artist whose work bridges the realms of inner transformation and aesthetic revelation. Born in the Siberian city of Tulun, Russia, and now based in Florida, USA, Anastasia brings a deeply introspective and spiritually driven approach to contemporary art. Her creative journey began later in life, but her rapid ascent as a professional artist is a testament to her discipline, vision, and authenticity.
Having originally built a career in business, Anastasia's transition into art was marked by an intense personal evolution—an inner metamorphosis that continues to shape her practice. Her works are a visual diary of healing, wholeness, and spiritual awakening. At the heart of her art lies the desire to dissolve the illusion of separation—between the material and the spiritual, the personal and the collective, the self and the universe.
Anastasia works with mixed media, often integrating mirrors, gold leaf, natural stones, and richly textured surfaces. These elements function not merely as decoration but as symbols—mirrors reflect the inner self, gold evokes divine energy, and stones ground her narratives in the raw strength of nature. Through this layering of symbols and textures, she creates immersive, multi-sensory pieces that invite viewers to reconnect with their own inner landscapes.
Educated in painting and mosaic techniques at the Darya Petrik School (Russia), she further deepened her philosophical and conceptual foundations by studying meta-spirituality with Nina Verkoien (USA) and communication in art with Yulia Sysalova (Greece). Her training as a certified coach infuses her art with therapeutic resonance—each piece becomes an offering of awareness and alignment.
Since relocating to the United States in 2022, Anastasia has fully dedicated herself to the pursuit of art as a medium for inner and outer dialogue. In 2025, she will hold her first solo exhibition in Sarasota, Florida.
