About to reach my 70th birthday, having forever sailed “dubious trails over the sea”, as the poem goes, I have been carried by the words of Ausiàs March. Skies have appeared on my papers. Horizons of sea and life, a straight look at death, at love... also joy and lust for life.
There is no opposition between life and death, but a never ending game of stone, scisors and paper between love, life and death.
Between desire, memory and oblivion I hope the paintigs in the gallery (not the same thing as the paintings in the studio) will tell the story with as much brio as March’s poem
See you there!
