Alain Ciavaldini

Visual artist, close to art brut, I consider my creations both as the expression of a tribal, primitive art, in the arrangement of colors and as the manifestation of a form of modernity in the choice of materials and in the composition of the works.

As a support I work mainly on pallet wood, recycled material, a warm, living material which allows all the fantasies in the form and which allows the inclusion of other materials (mainly tin). The asymmetry of most of my creations actually reveals a search for harmony in form and graphic composition.

Fruit of a fleeting impression, felt by chance of an encounter, a visit, a feeling, my inspiration leads me towards these colorful, linear, transversal works which, I hope, translate the happiness that I experience making them and sharing them.
