Biography

Modestly inscribed in the tradition of the first collages of Jacques Villeglé or Raymond Hains, major artists of the New Realism movement of the 50s/60s, my collages were born on notebooks, binders, to take a more accomplished and constantly evolving form on canvases since 2020.

These collages are the results of walks in the streets of the world and the fruit of reactions to international news that hits us every minute. They are also impressions, reflections of emotions and poetic or tragic marks, alerts or reactions of rejection or support on subjects which, in my opinion, mark our post-modern and - undoubtedly - pre-cataclysmic era. At this time when everything is going so fast without ultimately anything moving fast enough: women's rights, protection of children, energy stagnation, wars and unpunished violence, I feel a great need, a certain urgency to return to poetry and reading of ancient literary texts or exchanges with contemporary artists.
