Biography

Purely by chance, I became an assistant to the sculptor, architect, director Patrick Mazery on Saint Louis Island in 1983/84. For three years Patrick taught me all the aspects necessary for making Sculptures.

In 1988, after visiting “the magicians of the earth" at the Center Pompidou, I left for Sydney, Australia where I joined the National Art School for 3 years. For over thirty years in Australia, I have participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, winning numerous awards and commissions.

In 2021 after meeting the English sculptor Markus Hansen and his wife Valentine De Ganey I decided to give France a second chance and since 2021 I have been assisting Markus and Valentine as a collaborator, manager and handyman.
