Matter becomes language: between raw textures and organic scars, my art reveals the fragility of the world and questions our connection to nature.
Biography
Born in Iran, Sourena Parhizkar discovered his artistic calling through his admiration for French masters such as Cézanne and Matisse. After brilliantly integrating one of the best art universities in Iran, he moved to France to obtain an MFA in visual arts. His art, inspired by nature and nourished by ecological reflection, uses materials such as earth to symbolize the wounds of the planet and its calls for preservation. Between cracks, drips and changing surfaces, his works challenge, prefiguring an urgent dialogue between man and his environment.
