Nicolas Casamatta

Nicolas Casamatta is a French painter born in 1979.

Self-taught, he frees himself from all conventions and refuses to be confined to one style.

In this series, his work is a mixture of dream and introspection through the material and the different mediums used.

He plays with cubist fragmentation of distorted features and almost abstract faces, exploring the boundaries between abstraction and portraiture. These works evoke emotional complexity and intrigue the viewer with their innovative structure and use of color.

His artistic universe is a vibrant explosion of anthropomorphic forms and abstract elements. Dominated by bright colors, it presents a complex assembly of intertwined figures perhaps symbolizing harmonious chaos.
