Biography
Paul Kamper (1926-2014) was born in Krefeld, Germany. In 1946 he took drawing lessons at the Werkkunstschule in Krefeld. He is part of the Post-War Paris School. He lived in Paris from 1951 to 1954 where he studied at the Académie Ranson. he first exhibited at Galerie 25 in Paris in 1954.
In 1955, he married Matsue Tsuzawa, a Japanese painter and settled in the Marne in France. He traveled to Japan, the United States and Canada and returned in 1971 to Krefeld where he founded the "Gemeinschaft Krefelder Künstler". In 1996 he moved to Wissenkerke, the Netherlands, where he founded the "Art Delta Foundation". It is present in many museum and private collections.
