Biography
Roberto Vaccaro
born in 1991, is a South African metal sculptor who began his career in 2009. Inspired by the Garden Route's nature, he transforms discarded metal into striking sculptures, blending nature and humanity.
Mentored by his grandfather, sculptor Vincenzo Vaccaro, and influenced by his father, Dr. Vittorio Vaccaro, Roberto honed his skills. In 2013, he earned a scholarship to the University of Cape Town's Michaelis Fine Arts School.
Specializing in wildlife his works strength and scale reflect the commitment to sustainability. His sculptures push the boundaries of metal art, merging waste and wildlife.
