Biography
Donald Southam Lawrence , born in East Sheen (suburb of London ) on November 17, 1928 and died in Jevington (in) ( East Sussex ) on December 29, 2003, is an English comic strip artist.
Lawrence is known for his science fiction series: The Empire of Trigan , published in the English weeklies Ranger (en) and Look and Learn (en) , and Storm , first published by the Dutch weekly Eppo .
His realistic and detailed style inspired other English cartoonists, such as Brian Bolland , Dave Gibbons and Chris Weston.
