Through my art, I seek to reveal the harmony between nature's forms, colors, and light, inviting viewers to experience the world with depth, balance, and renewed perspective
Alexandra is an artist whose work is deeply connected to the search for harmony in nature and abstract forms. Born in 1980 in St. Petersburg, she has always had a passion for art, which led her to enroll at the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television, where she earned a degree in film and television directing. This experience broadened her artistic perspective and paved the way for her studies in academic drawing at the Ilya Repin St. Petersburg Academy of Arts.
Alexandra draws inspiration from the world around her, striving to capture its layered beauty through color, form, and light. She works with oil and acrylic paints, carefully selecting a palette to authentically convey the colors of nature. Often employing layering techniques to create depth, she pays close attention to detail, using a palette knife to add texture and accents when needed.
Her artistic practice is a blend of both scientific and creative approaches, aiming to express deep philosophical ideas through each piece. By using the "golden ratio" and layered textures, Alexandra’s works embody the concept of balance and harmony. Each painting is a journey of self-discovery, offering her a chance to explore the world and share her revelations with others. Today, despite a break in her exhibition schedule due to caring for her two-year-old son, she continues to develop her craft.
