

Biography
Karim Rashid is an Egyptian-American industrial designer born in 1960. With over 4,000 designs in production and over 300 awards to his name, he is recognized as one of the most prolific designers of his generation. His bold, colorful, and futuristic style has left its mark on the world of contemporary design . He has collaborated with renowned brands such as Veuve Clicquot, Alessi, Samsung, Christofle, Bonaldo, Artemide, and Vondom.
In 2024, Karim Rashid continued his creative endeavors around the world with projects for Italian, Spanish, and American brands. He continues to exhibit in international galleries , and his works are included in the permanent collections of several prestigious museums. His design spans the boundaries of luxury, technology, and lifestyle.

Karim Rashid studied at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, where he received a Bachelor of Industrial Design in 1982. He later pursued graduate studies in Italy under Ettore Sottsass and Rodolfo Bonetto.
